Frames are made from New Zealand timber sourced from managed forests. All frames are cut on a computerized router to ensure exactness.
All joints are screwed, dowelled stapled and glued for long-term strength. The entire upholstered frame is covered with hessian & layers of Supaloft, this is to eliminate stress on the fabric or cover and to create softness. Seating – Some styles have the additional support of coil springs hand tied onto hessian for certain lumber requirement, but generally most chair designs are cross-webbed with the best quality German webbing available. Seat cushions – we offer a choice of three types of fills: High density Atlas foam is cleverly laminated between two layers of soft "memory" foam then covered with a full layer of Supaloft; Standard Atlas foam which comes in varied densities; Atlas core foam wrapped with feather filled baffles. Arms – Foam shaping on arms for comfort with high density foam, finally covered with Supaloft, this protects the cover used and eliminates any hard edges or corners.
